Content Management

Content

The content management must be considered from the category of user perspective:

  1. Maintainer of the ePLANETe platform: administrator, author and editor.
  2. Member of Community of user: Coordinator, author, editor.
  3. Anonymous user: not connected.

Category (1) creates public contents, ie visible by all ePLANETe category. This content can only be maintained by this category.

Category (2) creates private content, ie visible only by its group or community of user. Content visibility might be moved to public scope, and remain maintained by this category. This is the hybrid mode that allows coordinator and editor of the community of user to keep control of their content. They may also decide to move their content to category (1) thus loosing control over edition.

Category (3) can only consume content of Category (1) or public content of Category (2).

Important: Category (1) and (3) cannot see or control Category (2) private content. Category (1) can gain control over private content of Category (2) occasionnaly, and temporaryly, if assistance is required by them.
